I found the hotel location very convenient. It was easy for me to walk to town. The staff assisted me to carry my bags. I used the restaurant and enjoyed my meal. The breakfast had several options.
The shower cubicle in my room was small with weak water flow.

lovely decordirty bedmissing hooks
the room had lovely decor and excellent breakfast.
The hotel took full payment two days before arrival and claimed it was for my safety. I found this quite amusing. the bed was a four poster, but the top clearly hadn't been cleaned in ages and the mattress gave my wife and i back aches. there were no hooks anywhere, not even in the bathroom, a bit of a problem when you're in yorkshire and it rains.

i found the location so close to the train station it was easy for me to get around. the staff were especially helpful, a gentle kindness i so needed. the breakfast was lovely. the afternoon tea, i tasted heaven.
the room, it faced the courtyard. it could be a touch noisy when folks were out there in the early evening. my room was also very warm. it made sleeping a bit hard to do.
